Sales Director – Hamburg, Germany
Requirements:
- Proven experience in growing & scaling, prospecting, closing and managing the Telco deals in Europe
- Experience in large account growth and new sales function within a technology services company functioning in a globally distributed delivery model.
- Solid background in services sales around OSS/BSS, Digital Transformation and Network Operations area with CTO/CIO/CNO organisations
- Experience of selling into Deutsche Telekom / T-Mobile in Germany and related telecoms in Europe
- C suite seller and relationships builder. Independently managing sales portfolio, managing strategic relationships at senior level and ability to generate new business up to 3-5mn USD per annum.
- Five plus years of solutions-oriented selling experience
- Excellent oral and written communication, as well as overall presentation skills with gravitas and customer-facing skills.
- Self-motivated and maturity to operate independently while working towards key sales metrics
- Accurate and timely pipeline forecasting
- Years of experience: minimum 5 years in Telco Sales
- Fluent German proficiency to read, write and speak is mandatory
Secondary skills:
- Telecom sector sales experience
- Experience of operating in offshore/onsite delivery model
- Experience of pursuing deal ticket sizes in excess of $1M total contract value
- Sales through partner ecosystem either in the OEM space, with the likes of Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia, Cisco etc. or specialist platform/technology vendors
- Experience in dealing with advisors and consultancies like Gartner, Everest, Ovum
- Ability to contribute towards the creation of new differentiated solutions along with domain specialist teams
