IT Transformation Program Director – Trinidad
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Understand the MNO’s structure, environment, strategic objectives and regional challenges and plan the overall program approach against a timeline.
- Oversee the ongoing Infrastructure and Cloud Services pilot activities and build into the overall plan
- Evaluate the existing resources and capability within the MNO and supplement with external specialist resources where required
- Assessment of the previous collateral that has been produced by transformation activities
- Direct the day to day delivery of Transformation activities from On Premise Infrastructure to the Cloud with associated cloud services
- Participate in the leadership team planning and delivery activities when required
- Own and manage the relationships with Key IT Vendors and ensure these are optimized for best value for the MNO
- Manage operational costs
- Conduct performance reviews and corrective action
Academic qualifications and experience required for job:
- Azure cloud discovery experience
- Problem solving in the IT environment
- Bachelor Degree in the field of computer science or six years of work experience
- Fifteen (15) years’ experience managing and delivering IT infrastructure and operational excellence
- 15 years+ experience of managing teams of over 20+ resources
- 15 years+ experience of delivering complex IT and Telecoms change projects
- Process automation
- Familiarity with Security and Networking
- Applicable Azure related certifications like MCSE, MCSD, MCSA preferred
